Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to oversee contract management and data analysis for all Procurement agreements. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) relationship, reviewing and analyzing contract terms and conditions, and recommending optimal contract terms and conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate contract evaluation and selection process
  • Prepare, support, and analyze results of contract negotiations with suppliers
  • Provide purchase and contract recommendations, coordinate implementation, fulfillment, and compliance of contract agreements
  • Ensure purchase compliance to price, terms and conditions, including various state and federal laws, and Everstory's policies and procedures
  • Monitor supplier compliance in areas of responsibility and recommend and implement action for improvement
  • Communicate back orders and product information to sales staff and provide an acceptable substitute product, when necessary
  • Provide support for the preparation, development and implementation of cost reduction initiatives for value analysis and budget teams throughout the organization
  • Review contract terms and conditions and work closely with Legal department to review and negotiate optimal contract terms and conditions
  • Ensure that all required documentation and approvals are obtained before finalizing the contract
  • Coordinate the implementation of contracts and the loading of new/updated agreements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, accounting or related field preferred
  • 4-6 years of experience in contract management, logistics, purchasing or related field
  • Ability to interact with a high degree of professionalism with outside vendors and all levels of internal customers
  • Requires analytical ability to identify cost savings opportunities, formulate alternative solutions and determine acceptability
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, technical, cross-functional environment
  • Able to effectively prioritize, quickly complete multiple tasks/assignments and meet deadlines with persistent attention to detail
  • Highly motivated, hands-on, improvement-oriented personality
  • Comfortable working independently and with minimal supervision
  • Ability to speak clearly and articulate effectively in a professional, friendly and positive manner on the telephone and in person to internal and external customers
  • Must possess a valid state driver's license
