Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Elec Trans Construction Specialist II to join our team at Dominion Energy. As a key member of our construction team, you will provide technical and field support in various areas of electric transmission construction, including construction access, erosion and sediment controls, and rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and evaluate technical documentation, equipment, and process improvements to ensure construction work is performed in accordance with company policy and procedures.
  • Work under the direction of a company construction work leader to modify the detail of work being performed to accommodate field conditions.
  • Maintain communications with customers and perform work on private property.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of directly related experience in electric transmission construction.
  • Strong knowledge in multiple construction specializations, including construction access, erosion and sediment controls, and rehabilitation.
  • Good knowledge of contract administration and OSHA safety standards.
  • Ability to apply engineering and construction theories and concepts to complex problems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience.
  • State and Federal Certifications for Erosion and Sedimentation Control, VADEQ Responsible Land Disturber.
