Position Overview:
Chipton-Ross is seeking 10 experienced Procurement Agents for a contract/hybrid opportunity.

Work Arrangement:
This role will initially require full onsite presence for a duration of 6-8 weeks, transitioning to a hybrid model with a minimum of 3 days onsite each week.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Formulates procurement and supply chain strategies to meet client needs.
2. Develops and implements organizational business objectives.
3. Advises on proposal evaluations and formulates negotiation tactics.
4. Clarifies procurement requirements with clients and leads supplier negotiation processes.
5. Prepares and finalizes negotiated agreements.
6. Ensures adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
7. Oversees contract terminations.
8. Creates plans for organizational and company enhancements.

Essential Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, successful completion of training is mandatory.

Required Skills:
- Proven experience as a Buyer or Procurement Agent within the Aerospace sector.
- 6-10 years of experience in drafting, negotiating, and executing complex contracts for optimal value.
- Extensive experience in proposal development and contract negotiations with government clients.
- Background in managing both direct and indirect costs to enhance competitiveness.
- Significant experience in leading proposals and developing contract terms and conditions.
- Over 6 years of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a Purchasing Agent.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Previous experience with clients.
- Familiarity with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) and DFAR requirements.
- Experience with procurement systems such as Network Procurement (NWP) or SAP (4HANA).
- Expertise in negotiating non-competitive government procurements exceeding the Truth In Negotiations Act (TINA) threshold.

Education:
Accredited Bachelor's degree preferred, or a High School Diploma/GED required.

Travel Requirements:
Potential for less than 10% domestic travel.
