Electrical Engineer Job Description

At Dice, we're seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing electrical systems, conducting electrical calculations, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze electrical systems to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards
  • Conduct electrical calculations and simulations to optimize system performance
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to identify and resolve electrical system issues
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation to support project deliverables

Requirements:

  • Electrical Design, Electricity, and Electrical Engineering skills
  • Experience in power distribution and power systems
  • Knowledge of electrical codes and standards
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation is preferred
