At Mercer, we're seeking a highly skilled Annuity Placement Associate to join our team. As a key member of our pension risk transfer market, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our efforts to deliver innovative solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project manage annuity placements from initial bidding and price discovery to execution and post-deal transition of pension liabilities.
  • Liaise with insurance providers to ensure timely delivery of required documents.
  • Analyze pricing to provide unique solutions and support strategy for annuity buyouts.
  • Collaborate with actuarial and administration teams to gather plan and participant data.
  • Facilitate the preparation of insurance market due diligence material to support our consulting process.

What You'll Need:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of pension experience in an insurance company, financial strategy, investment, or actuarial consulting environment.
  • Familiarity with investment principles and actuarial calculations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
