Job Summary

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN performs a variety of tasks, including conducting nuclear medicine procedures, processing films, and ensuring radiation safety. This role requires a strong understanding of age-related factors in patient care and a commitment to providing high-quality patient interactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct nuclear medicine procedures following established protocols and standards.
  • Process films using automatic processors and ensure accurate results.
  • Apply knowledge of age-related factors in patient care, from neonates to geriatrics.
  • Practice radiation safety and observe universal precautions at all times.
  • Pursue professional development to continually improve patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate from an Accredited School of Nuclear Medicine approved by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association or the documented equivalent education, experience, and training.
  • Licensure: Current certification by CNMT or ARRT (NM).
  • Experience: Ability to perform Nuclear Medicine procedures following accepted standards and protocols.
