Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN Position

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN to join our team at Reston Hospital Center. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN, you will be responsible for performing all established nuclear medicine procedures, including filming images and processing films using automatic processors. You will also consider age-related factors in care, treatment, education, and evaluation of patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform all required calibration and quality checks, noting results in appropriate logs.
- Practice Radiation safety and observe universal precautions at all times.
- Pursue professional development for the continual improvement of patient care.
- Perform related work as required.
- Graduate from an Accredited School of Nuclear Medicine approved by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association or the documented equivalent education, experience, and training.
- Current certification by CNMT or ARRT (NM).
- Ability to perform Nuclear Medicine procedures following accepted standards and protocols.
