Childcare Program Director Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to join Women In Need, Inc. as a Childcare Program Director. The successful candidate will lead our childcare team in developing and implementing high-quality programs for pre-school infant/toddler children.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in early childhood education, experience working with diverse populations, and excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive childcare programs that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Lead and supervise a team of Assistant Teachers and provide coaching and training as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making data-driven decisions to improve outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a non-profit setting.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to lift children on a regular basis and ascend/descend stairs in the building.
Compensation and Benefits

$40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
