Samaritan Daytop Village, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Childcare Specialist to provide onsite childcare and safety for resident children in accordance with the prescribed curriculum under the supervision of the Site Director.

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 annually, depending on experience.

**Job Summary**

As a Childcare Specialist at Samaritan Daytop Village, Inc., you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children, promoting their physical, emotional, and social development. Your role will involve planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with the Site Director to ensure seamless service delivery.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Provide high-quality childcare services to resident children, adhering to established policies and procedures;
  • Develop and implement engaging activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and physical growth;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's progress, attendance, and medication administration;
  • Collaborate with the Site Director to ensure effective communication, coordination, and problem-solving;

**Requirements:**

  • Associates Degree preferred, High School or Equivalency Diploma required;
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in childcare services or pre-school settings;
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certificates;
