Soliant is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Teacher of the Deaf to join our team. As a Special Education Professional, you will be responsible for providing educational support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Intervention: Conduct assessments to identify students' educational and behavioral concerns, and develop and implement individualized education plans to address these needs.
  • Case Management: Provide case management services to students, including creating and implementing lesson plans, and working one-on-one with students to support their academic and social development.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff members to ensure that students receive the support they need to succeed.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Master's degree in Special Education or a related field, and a valid Special Education License.
  • Experience: Minimum 1+ years of experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing, preferably in a self-contained setting.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, and experience implementing IEPs.
