As a key member of our oncology department, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of nursing responsibilities during each shift, including assigning patient assignments, medication orders, and training new hires.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage nursing responsibilities during each shift, ensuring efficient, timely, and knowledgeable care
- Assign patient assignments and medication orders
- Train new hires and manage a safe environment for staff and patients
- Ensure patient satisfaction in every interaction
- Current NYS RN license
- 2 years minimum experience as an RN in an oncology setting
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred (current enrollment in BSN program required)
- Excellent leadership skills
- High level of familiarity with NYCBS policies and procedures
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Salary up to $115,000/annually
