Position Overview
Position Title: Academic Advisor I - Senior Academic Advisor I
Position Type: Staff Full-Time
Department: Graduate Programs

Role Summary:
This role is designed to be the primary academic consultant for Master of Business Administration (MBA) students, primarily focusing on those enrolled in online programs. The position is integral to the Watson Graduate School of Management within the Spears School of Business.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Evaluate student records while adhering to FERPA, Title VII, and Title IX regulations.
2. Provide comprehensive support and guidance to MBA students throughout their academic journey.
3. Perform administrative tasks and manage special projects as assigned.
4. Maintain effective communication through email and manage time-sensitive appointments.
5. Represent the Spears School of Business and graduate programs in various meetings.
6. Assist with the MBA scholarship process and contribute to the upkeep of online orientation modules.
7. Collaborate with faculty to address various needs related to graduate education.

Work Environment:
The position offers flexibility in office location, with options available in different campuses. However, occasional travel may be required for team-oriented events.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Proficiency in computer systems to assist with student enrollment and advisement processes.
- Strong service orientation and ability to engage with a diverse group of stakeholders in a dynamic environment.

Preferred:
- Master's degree and three years of relevant experience.
