Job Summary

The Sterile Processing Coordinator is a critical member of our team, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of instrument cleaning, processing, and sterilization. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and excellent communication skills. If you are a certified sterile processing professional with 2 years of experience, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and assemble instrument trays for sterilization
  • Sort, wrap, and label instruments and supplies
  • Make substitutions for damaged and missing instruments
  • Sterilize supplies via autoclave following manufacturer's and facility standards
  • Check sterile items for expiration dates and rotate stock
  • Report lost instruments to supervisor
  • Observe and maintain appropriate standards for cleaning and sterilizing contaminated items
  • Monitor autoclaves for proper temperature and working order
Qualifications
  • Certification in sterile processing
  • 2 years' experience as a sterile processing technician
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Physical stamina required
  • Good communication skills
