  • Follow all infection control and safety policies and procedures, upholding the highest standards of patient care and staff well-being.
  • Communicate and collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a timely and respectful manner, fostering a culture of teamwork and cooperation.
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies, ensuring seamless operations and minimizing disruptions.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain knowledge of current sterilization techniques and protocols, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in science and mathematics.
  • Completion of an accredited sterile processing program, preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sterile Processing Specialist, with a proven track record of success and dedication.
  • Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and safety.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, with a strong physical presence and stamina.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, with a willingness to go above and beyond to meet the needs of the team and patients.
