Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Ascension. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring accurate and safe imaging procedures.
  • Select and operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Administer contrast media and medications as needed, adhering to state and federal regulations.
  • Monitor patient safety and well-being during procedures, reporting any abnormalities or concerns.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • Radiologic Technologist licensure from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency.
  • One or more of the following certifications: Nuclear Medical Tech, Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography, or Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Dual modality experience, with ability to perform CT and X-Ray procedures.
  • Previous experience as a CT Technologist, with a strong understanding of CT scanner operation and patient safety protocols.
