Medical Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Medical Care Specialist to join our nursing team at Mass General Brigham in Brighton, MA.

About the JobThe successful candidate will provide patient care according to the philosophy and standards of the Department of Nursing, utilizing clinical skills to integrate and implement the nursing process with the plan of care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Nursing assessment completed accurately and timely in accordance with practice standards.
- Plan of care developed and implemented that reflects the needs and goals of the patient.
- Nursing care provided, evaluated, and modified to achieve goals and objectives.
A bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred, and current licensure from the Massachusetts Board of Registration as a Registered Nurse is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also necessary.
Skills and QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess effective verbal, electronic, and written communication skills, as well as computer proficiency. They should be able to work independently, be self-directed, and contribute as a member of a team.
Physical demands of the job include standing, walking, sitting, use of hands requiring fine motor skills and sense of touch, and reaching with hands and arms. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
