We are seeking a skilled Medical Translation Specialist to join our team at Element Care. This role is perfect for individuals who can communicate effectively in both English and the target language, ensuring seamless interactions between patients and healthcare providers.

Job Overview

This position requires strong translation skills, with the ability to maintain proper medical terminology vocabulary and fluency in both languages. As a Medical Translation Specialist, you will be responsible for providing accurate interpretation services, maintaining appointment calendars, and scheduling agency interpreters as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality translation services in various settings
  • Maintain accurate medical terminology and cultural knowledge
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate logistics
  • Ensure effective communication between patients and healthcare providers
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and hold a Certified Medical Interpreter designation from an accredited post-high school institution. Experience translating in a healthcare setting is preferred, but not required.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Fluency in both English and the target language
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Strong office-based computer skills in MS Office
  • Frequent local travel may be required
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $62,000 - $72,000, depending on location and experience. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
