About the Position:

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Customer Service Representative to join our team at Horizon Distributors, Inc. As a key member of our sales center, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences by sharing product knowledge, providing recommendations, and demonstrating outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Customer Support: Collaborate with team members to provide top-notch customer service, utilizing all company resources to sell Horizon's value and give customers the best experience possible.
  • Order Preparation and Follow-up: Prepare sales orders, assist customers in selecting and loading merchandise, and make follow-up calls to potential and existing customers to introduce opportunities and solicit additional business.
  • Warehouse and General Duties: Assist in receiving, shipping, and general warehouse duties, including maintaining a clean, well-organized, well-stocked sales center.

Requirements:

  • Customer-Focused Personality: Strong customer-service attitude, self-motivated, and detail-oriented personality.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, understanding information, and communicating clearly through spoken and written words.
  • Technical Skills: Good computer and record-keeping skills, aptitude to learn ever-evolving systems, programs, handheld technology, and processes.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to frequently lift and move items that weigh up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
