USDM Life Sciences is seeking an experienced R&D Procurement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for research and development projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the procurement process for research and development projects, including RFQs, contract negotiations, and supplier management.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Manage and maintain preferred supplier data, including rate cards and contract terms.
- Support category management projects and initiatives, including market analysis and savings calculations.
- 4+ years of experience in research and development procurement, preferably in the biopharmaceutical and/or CRO/CMO industry.
- Proven track record of managing procurement processes, including RFQs, contract negotiations, and supplier management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
