Clinical Dietitian

CentraCare is seeking a skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Dietitian to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing nutrition care to patients across the continuum of care, ensuring the implementation of a collaborative plan of care for patients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct nutrition assessments and initiate appropriate nutrition interventions to promote the optimal nutritional status of patients.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Develop and implement patient-centered care plans that address the nutritional needs of patients.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on nutrition-related topics.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition/Dietetics/Nutrition Science required if eligibility for dietitian registration exam is established prior to 1/1/24 or Master's degree in Nutrition/Dietetics/Nutrition Science required if eligibility for dietitian registration exam is established after 1/1/24.
- 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
- Registered Dietitian (Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration) required or employment contingent upon passing the registration exam within 90 days.
- Licensed Dietitian or Licensed Nutritionist in the State of Minnesota required if performing services in an outpatient or clinic setting, required within 30 days.
- $26.91 or more per hour, pay determined by experience.
- $5,000 relocation bonus for eligible candidates.

Clinical Dietitians at CentraCare complete clinical nutrition assessments and initiate appropriate nutrition interventions to promote the optimal nutritional status of patients in the hospital.
We provide nutrition education to patients and families and collaborate with other members of the healthcare team.
