About the Role

Newport Healthcare is a leading provider of behavioral healthcare services, dedicated to transforming young lives through evidence-based care. We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team, who will play a critical role in supporting the nutritional needs of our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in weekly treatment team meetings to ensure seamless communication and collaboration with clinical and culinary teams.
  • Perform assessments with clients to identify potential disordered eating or difficulties with food and body image, and provide personalized guidance and support.
  • Consult and advise clients on a weekly basis, sharing observations and recommendations with the clinical and culinary teams.
  • Document all sessions in our company-provided Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
  • Communicate with families, previous providers, and insurance companies as needed.
  • Develop and deliver quarterly training sessions for staff on nutrition-related topics.
  • Present at community events and lectures as requested.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or related field.
  • Completion of advanced coursework at an accredited educational institution.
  • Satisfactory completion of the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) test.
  • Maintenance of RD Credential.
