Job Title: Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. in Florham Park, NJ.

Job Summary:

The Occupational Therapy Assistant will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality rehabilitation services to patients in a skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a SNF setting and be proficient in using electronic medical records.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility
  • Work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans to meet the needs of patients
  • Implement interventions and provide education to patients and caregivers
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
