Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. in Florham Park, NJ.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients with physical, emotional, or cognitive disabilities.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment strategies.
  • Provide direct patient care, including exercises, activities, and interventions to promote independence and functional ability.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
  • Current active state license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
  • Less than 1 year of experience in rehabilitation therapy.
  • Ability to work 32 hours per week.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or similar setting.
  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary clearances.
