Key Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians in surgery and exam rooms, ensuring a safe and efficient experience for patients and clients.
- Provide nursing care, including administering medications, taking vital signs, and monitoring patient conditions.
- Manage inventory, maintain accurate records, and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with laboratory and radiology procedures, ensuring accurate results and timely communication with veterinarians.
- Deliver exceptional client education and communication, providing clear and concise information on patient care and treatment options.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; veterinary technician or assistant certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with veterinarians, staff, and clients.
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities, work efficiently, and maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work a combination of morning, evening, and weekend shifts, with occasional overtime as needed.
