Key Responsibilities
  • Mill Machine Operation: Run batches of ink at optimal mill settings, ensuring consistent quality and efficiency.
  • Packaging and Labeling: Package finished products in various containers and apply labels, adhering to our quality control standards.
  • Maintenance and Cleaning: Clean and maintain machines to TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) standards, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • TPM Knowledge Application: Apply TPM knowledge to daily activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Hockmeyer Mill Operation: Run and maintain optimum OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) standards for Hockmeyer mill operations.
  • Formula Database Management: Create and maintain a database of all existing formulas, including processing times, to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Canning and Packaging: Operate canning and packaging equipment, ensuring high-quality products and meeting customer requirements.
  • QC Liaison: Act as a Quality Control liaison, providing ink samples, making adjustments, and recording data to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Scheduled Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Complete scheduled maintenance and utilize troubleshooting procedures to minimize downtime and ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Repacking and Inventory Management: Assist with repacking and inventory management tasks, ensuring accurate and efficient storage and distribution of products.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience: 3 months of related work experience.
  • Skills: Good math and basic computer skills, attention to detail, reliability, flexibility, and ability to work assigned shift.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Forklift Experience: Forklift experience, but we can train you.
  • Industry Background: Mixing, mill, and pump filter industry background.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in the ink industry.
