A candidate must possess full certification in accordance with the standards established by the Department of Education of the State of New Jersey.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Building Principal, ensures adherence to the District's standards for student instruction and curriculum content, tailored to the specific student demographic assigned to the educator.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Maintains all necessary documentation, completes reports, and manages routine tasks in a timely manner.
  2. Participates in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and curriculum planning meetings as scheduled by the District.
  3. Adapts instructional methods to enhance student performance and cater to individual learning needs.
  4. Upholds standards of student behavior to foster a structured and effective educational environment.
  5. Directs the learning process towards achieving curriculum objectives in alignment with the District's educational philosophy.
  6. Regularly evaluates student progress and provides necessary feedback as required.
  7. As directed by the building Principal or Central Office administration, administers standardized assessments in compliance with District policies and applicable regulations.
  8. Identifies students with behavioral, physical, or learning challenges and collaborates with the District's specialists as needed.
  9. Engages with school staff, colleagues, parents, and students regarding instructional needs and student progress.
  10. Achieves and maintains proficiency in District computer systems and applications relevant to the role.
  11. Performs additional duties or responsibilities as assigned by the building administrator or Central Office administration.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Salary and work year to be determined by the Board of Education.

ANNUAL EVALUATION
Job performance will be assessed annually in accordance with New Jersey state law and the Board's evaluation policies for certified staff.
