Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Lead Installation Technician to oversee the installation of residential HVAC equipment and accessories. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that work is performed correctly to meet all code requirements, communicating with customers to answer questions and cover the scope of work, resolving problems, and ensuring complete customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment, as well as accessories, in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications.
  • Design, fabricate, and install various ducts and duct fittings as necessary.
  • Perform limited diagnostics, as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean work area and safeguard client floors by laying drop cloths while performing installations.
  • Perform before and after walk-throughs of entire homes, identify any damages, and cover with customers.
  • Complete installation forms that reflect tasks performed for reporting accuracy and future comparison.
  • Effectively communicate with customers about the scope of the job, answer questions, and address concerns.
  • Perform start-ups on heating, cooling systems, and other components.
  • Maintain safe working conditions for the installation crew.
  • Train apprentices on various aspects of the job, including setting air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, or air handlers, pulling vacuums on refrigerant systems, and testing for tightness.
Qualifications
  • Preferred 2 years of experience with solid references.
  • EPA and NATE certification preferred but not required.
  • Must have a valid state driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
