About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Controls Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and servicing building control systems, including HVAC equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct preventive maintenance, repair, and installation of building control systems, including HVAC equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair complex control systems malfunctions, requiring extensive knowledge of electronic or digital controls systems.
  • Consult with customers to provide field proposals for retrofits, upgrades, and enhancements to existing equipment.
  • Assist sales teams with technical recommendations for sales leads.
  • Manage assigned work to meet professional and efficient execution of time and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Vocational School four-year program graduate, an Associate's degree in a technical field, or two years' experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to install and/or service electronic control systems and HVAC equipment.
  • Effective communication skills to represent Johnson Controls on customer sites.
  • Possesses the ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people.
  • Demonstrate effective writing skills as well as understanding of programs and software applications.
