Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Therapist to join our team at Elwyn in Phoenixville, PA. As a Therapist, you will provide assessment and therapy services for adolescents and adults, coordinating and managing services to meet individual client needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop initial assessments of individual treatment needs through one-on-one sessions and review of referral agency records.
  • Collaborate with other resources to develop treatment plan goals for assigned individuals, using behavioral health assessment tools and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain progress notes and reports, modifying treatment plans as needed to ensure quality clinical care and compliance.
  • Provide clinically appropriate treatment, including individual and group counseling, to ensure treatment plan goals are met.
  • Manage a clinical caseload, prioritizing tasks and meeting productivity standards to ensure financial sustainability.
  • Participate in program outreach activities, including behavioral health screenings and community events, to increase community impact and build connections with referring providers.
  • Utilize individuals' natural and professional supports to assist in meeting treatment plan goals.
  • Assist clients in adhering to treatment plans, setting up appointments and arranging transportation as needed.
  • Maintain chart documentation, including session notes, assessments, and treatment plans, to ensure adherence to regulatory and payer requirements.
  • Coordinate with other Elwyn clinical personnel to support the overall outpatient program function and sister programs.
  • Attend internal team meetings and outside meetings as directed, participating in weekly supervision with the clinical director to maintain license-eligible status.
Requirements
  • Master's degree from an accredited university in a clinical mental health discipline, such as psychology, counseling, or social work.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent customer interaction, collaboration, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of Electronic Health Record (EHR) / Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, preferred.
  • Current, valid driver's license in the state of residence, three years driving experience in the United States, and acceptable driving record.
