About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Longleaf Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals struggling with mental health and substance abuse issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' physical and behavioral health needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Provide and coordinate care, including medication administration and education.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in behavioral health and substance abuse treatment.

Requirements:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
  • One year of nursing experience, preferably in psychiatric or behavioral health settings.
  • CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
