Dishwasher - Mountain Shadows

The Steward will transport and clean cooking utensils and service ware to provide cooks, bus persons, and food servers with the necessary equipment for a seamless guest dining experience. This role requires attention to detail, a pleasant disposition, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
Key Responsibilities
Promptly sort and clean soiled ware to ensure proper sanitation and hygiene standards.
Maintain the dish machine, ensuring it is properly cleaned and filled with water according to hotel standards.
Operate the burnishing machine to achieve a polished finish on silverware.
De-tarnish and polish silverware for optimal appearance.
Clean kettles, tilt skillets, pots, and pans promptly and thoroughly to enable cooks to perform their tasks effectively.
Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by the supervisor to maintain health standards.
Clean and dry food to prevent slip/fall accidents.
Separate linen from other debris.
Perform additional duties as requested by the Chef, Sous Chef, and/or Cook I.
Requirements
Possess a Certified Food Handlers card, registered with Maricopa County, to be kept on file.
Wear personal protective equipment when required.
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that enables effective collaboration with guests, vendors, co-workers, and management.
