Join Our Team as a Home Health Physical Therapist

Riverside Health System is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our Riverside At Home team. As a Home Health Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in promoting wellness and restoring vitality to our patients in the Newport News community.

About the Role

As a Physical Therapist on our Riverside At Home team, you will:

  • Perform initial and ongoing assessments to measure patients' progress and develop evidence-based treatment plans
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to provide comprehensive care with compassion
  • Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Home Health Aides to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
  • 1 year of experience in Physical Therapy (preferred)
  • Knowledge of growth and development principles, as well as the ability to assess patients' needs and status
  • Licenses and certifications, including a Physical Therapy license from the Virginia Department of Health Professions and CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association
