Role and Team

As a key member of our team, you'll report to a designated manager and assist with outside operations and functions across various departments, including Dealer Consignment, Factory, Fleet/Lease, and Commercial Accounts. Your primary goal will be to ensure maximum dollar sales volume in the most profitable way possible, while adhering to corporate guidelines and state or federal laws.

Responsibilities
  • Perform duties in compliance with all contractual customer agreements.
  • Utilize AuctionTrac to scan inventory and record vehicle movement.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory in designated areas.
  • Participate in periodic physical inventory counts.
  • Act as liaison between auction and designated accounts as needed.
  • Walk inventory with representatives, recommending repairs to generate revenue.
  • Determine which vehicles require outside services.
  • Review and write repair orders, coordinating with shops as necessary.
  • Locate, number, and place vehicles not requiring shop work on the sale line.
  • Determine or confirm vehicle mileage for administrators.
  • Perform physical verification of year, miles, and VIN number before sale.
  • Communicate with shop and operational personnel to ensure efficient inventory flow.
  • Place initial stickers on vehicles for designated shops, move vehicles to staging areas as needed.
  • Flag vehicles, add final stickers, and mark numbers on windshields for sale.
  • Walk vehicles with representatives prior to sale to check shop work and final recon.
  • Take pictures of inoperable vehicles for sale as needed.
  • Track missing units and assist transporters in locating vehicles.
  • Locate redemption units upon request and assist administrative staff to release vehicles to customers.
  • Use PC and AMS to look up information regarding designated vehicles.
  • Enter repair orders into the VTrace system.
  • Assist in educating Vehicle Inspectors on SOP for each account.
  • Ensure arbitrated units are restocked into inventory and proper announcements are made.
  • Identify and add/verify vehicle announcements and reports for pre-sale.
  • Dealer Consignment: Determine if 'no start' vehicles should be moved to the Mechanic Shop.
  • Dealer Consignment: Create Live Block Listings using a hand-held device.
  • Sale Day: Operate gas dollies, lock out tools, or jump pack as needed.
  • Sale Day: Assist with coordination of the sale line to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
  • Some automotive knowledge is preferred but not required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver's license.
  • Must have a demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Must have the ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.

Physical Working Conditions
