We are seeking a Regional Manager - Structural to lead our Project Delivery Group (PDG) in the USA. This group is comprised of engineering specialists and design teams that deliver studies and projects on a global scale. Our commitment is to add value throughout the entire lifecycle of our clients' assets, from initial studies to operational phases, ensuring alignment with their business objectives. We utilize innovative project tools and continuously seek improvements in project implementation.
This role is pivotal as we expand our national presence, overseeing our regional business which is experiencing significant growth. The successful candidate will report to the Regional Director and can be based in any of our major U.S. locations. You will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team and collaborating with colleagues globally within the Hatch platform. The Regional Structural Lead will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our Structural practice, focusing on business development, team leadership, thought leadership, client engagement, and ensuring the technical quality and financial performance of deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary leader for Hatch's Structural business, driving growth and financial performance.
- Develop and achieve business development targets through strong client relationships and project initiatives.
- Expand the team to accommodate increasing workloads while fostering global collaboration.
- Oversee bid development processes, managing technical proposals and providing necessary technical inputs.
- Strategically plan for both short and long-term business objectives.
- Facilitate collaboration across Hatch's various disciplines to enhance our overall service offerings.
- Work closely with other managers on ongoing projects and resource allocation.
- Ensure quality assurance for projects, reports, bid submissions, and deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering.
- 15+ years of experience in structural engineering, particularly in a consulting capacity.
- Registered Professional Engineer status is required.
- Proven experience in leading and developing teams for commercial success in a consultancy environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project teams in a multidisciplinary context.
- Successful track record in business development and achieving targets.
- Strong collaborative skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in dynamic environments.
