Job Summary:

Volt is seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our team in Chatsworth, CA. This is a full-time opportunity to work on avionic systems and equipment.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Electronics Engineer with experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing avionic instrumentation equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electronics, system theory, and operational functions of various units.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical components, parts, equipment, and systems
  • Test instruments using appropriate test equipment, circuit testers, oscilloscopes, and voltmeters
  • Monitor daily schedules to ensure ship schedules are met
  • Complete documentation such as shop and manufacturing order records and submit required reports
  • Read and interpret assembly drawings and schematics, procedures, and technical manuals
  • Handle small objects with precision

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance and repair of avionic equipment
  • Experience utilizing hand tools and electronic testing equipment
  • Proficient in PCB soldering
  • Computer proficiency and familiar with basic applications
  • Minimum two-year electronics degree or equivalent education, training, and work experience
  • Knowledge of advanced analog and digital electronics, system theory, and operational function of various units
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this role is between $52,000 and $62,000 annually, based on location, experience, and qualifications.
