The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging individuals with a substance use disorder, providing non-clinical assistance and recovery supports while maintaining follow-up with these individuals. You will act as a positive role model, sharing your experiential knowledge, hope, and skills to empower individuals to make self-determined choices about their recovery pathways.
- Educate individuals on how to navigate treatment, social service, and recovery support systems.
- Maintain relationships with individuals and families to assist in the treatment engagement and retention process.
- Reinforce, guide, and ensure patients and their families that recovery is possible, built on multiple strengths, coping abilities, and resources.
