Job Summary

The YMCA of Greater New York is seeking a skilled Associate Program Director to provide direct care services and ensure the execution of day-to-day clinical, programmatic, and fiscal operations. This role requires a strong background in substance use disorder, program development, and staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct Services: Deliver individual crisis intervention, group sessions, and maintain caseloads, including intake assessments.
  • Documentation: Oversee comprehensive documentation for each client file.
  • Program Development: Enhance program census through outreach, coalition participation, and strategic partnerships.
  • Administration: Assist Senior Program Director in ensuring contract compliance and quality assurance.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Master's Degree in Social Work or related field with NYS License.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the substance use disorder field, including program development and social service.
  • Experience in staff supervision, fiscal management, and quality assurance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
