Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Operations: Schedule dining reservations, arrange parties and special services for guests, and coordinate activities of outlet staff to ensure prompt and courteous service.
  • Guest Service: Greet guests, escort them to tables, and provide menus. Adjust complaints of guests and ensure that their needs are met.
  • Staff Management: Assign work tasks, coordinate activities of outlet staff, and inspect outlet serving stations for neatness and cleanliness.
  • Training and Development: Interview, train, and schedule work hours for outlet staff, and keep time records of outlet workers.
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Assist in planning menus, prepare beverages, and expedite food orders.
  • Cash Handling: Collect payment from guests and total receipts at end of shift to verify sales and clear cash register.
  • Team Motivation: Reward associates who use their empowerment to meet or exceed guest expectations.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: One year experience as a cashier, two years experience as a server, and one year in direct sales or the retail trade; OR, an equivalent combination of experience.
  • Licenses/Certifications: TIPS Certification and Food Safety Certification.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to speak and hear in English, close and distance vision, frequently lifts/carries up to 25 lbs, and continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills.
