Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Educator to join our team at Mount Carmel Health System. As a Clinical Educator, you will play a vital role in providing consultation and education to patients, families, staff, and physicians regarding patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert consultation and education to patients, families, staff, and physicians on patient care best practices.
  • Assume a leadership role in issues related to patient care and act as a change agent to support institutional initiatives.
  • Develop and implement education programs to meet the learning needs of colleagues within patient care settings.
  • Collaborate with other organizations to provide language access services and promote cultural sensitivity in patient care.
  • Develop patient education materials that are easy-to-read and culturally sensitive.
  • Participate in ongoing research in clinical practice to stay current with evidence-based practices.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution or currently enrolled in a Master's degree in Nursing program with anticipated achievement within 2-3 years.
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Ohio.
  • Professional certification(s) preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years recent experience in area of specialization preferred.
  • Demonstrates leadership and teaching experience.
