About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Production Technician to join our team at RedGuard Diversified Structures. As a Production Technician, you will play a critical role in the interior build-out of storm shelters and other industrial buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate production.
  • Operate various power tools and equipment, including hand sanders and scrapers, to prepare metal surfaces.
  • Inspect work to ensure quality and accuracy, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Cross-train in various construction skill sets and apply skills in multiple stages of the manufacturing process.
  • Collaborate with the Fabrication and Production Manager to ensure timely completion of projects.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in a production or fabrication environment is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Basic arithmetic skills and ability to use hand tools and power tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Work Environment

The Production Technician will work in a manufacturing environment with a focus on quality and safety. The physical demands of the job include standing for prolonged periods, climbing, bending, and kneeling. The worker must be able to safely operate power tools and equipment.
