Key Responsibilities

  • Enforce college policies and procedures related to safety and security

  • Participate in emergency response and crisis management efforts
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Three years of post-high school experience
  • Valid driver's license and good driving history
  • Successfully pass a background review, including criminal history and driving history
  • Be able to obtain and maintain CPR/AED and First Aid certification
  • Basic knowledge of campus environment and/or security industry, relevant laws, and safety and fire prevention
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in Criminal Justice or related field
  • Two years law enforcement experience
  • Demonstrated strong student orientation and customer focus
  • A strong service orientation and a demonstrated ability to work in a diverse, multicultural community
