Wound Care Specialist

Korzen Health, in partnership with Healogics and Major Hospital, is driven to deliver exceptional wound care services through its Wound Care Center, an Academic Affiliated program. We are seeking an experienced Wound Care Specialist - Senior Advanced Practice Clinician to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a procedural environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for treating an average of 10-15 patients per day, with a focus on wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Our clinic operates Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with a 40-hour workweek.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a base salary with a bonus plan and opportunities for growth within leadership. The hourly rate for Nurse Practitioners is $55-60, with a guaranteed 8-hour workday. Our team is comprised of a Full Team Case Manager, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Nurses, Office Manager, and support staff, creating a collaborative and efficient work environment.
To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a Nurse Practitioner license, MSN, Board certification, and DEA License. The ideal candidate will also have experience in treating adult and geriatric patients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform wound assessments, debridements, and dressings, as well as hyperbaric oxygen treatment
- Treat an average of 10-15 patients per day, with a focus on wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy
- Collaborate with a Full Team Case Manager, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Nurses, Office Manager, and support staff to provide comprehensive care
- Develop and maintain knowledge of wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy best practices
- Contribute to the development of our wound care services and participate in quality improvement initiatives
