LTAMDS Array Integrated Structure Product Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer to serve as the LTAMDS Array Integrated Structure Product Lead at Raytheon. This is a critical role that will lead the design, development, and integration of the LTAMDS array structure, power, RF, control, and cooling distribution, and miscellaneous array-level components.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement technical solutions to complex problems related to the entire product life cycle, including proposal, design, manufacture, integration, and test of phase array radars/electronics for multiple military programs.
- Supervise the definitions of mechanical outline and construction details, component selection and specification, mechanical and assembly drawings, electrical/RF layout, and deliver the final technical data package.
- Employ transition-to-production practices with the ability to lead a design release into production.
- Track, report, and meet cost, schedule, quality, and performance requirements for the finished product, including Earned Value (EV) management and Estimate at Complete (EAC) inputs.
- Prepare proposal inputs on behalf of the Integrated Structure product area.
- Interpret procurement and build status for the Integrated Structure product area while helping to remove roadblocks.
- Provide technical conscience, ensuring the product and process meet appropriate standards and requirements.
- Work with minimal direction or supervision, exercising considerable latitude in determining the technical objectives of the assignment.
- Lead a small team of mechanical engineers when required.
- Interact frequently with senior personnel, occasionally including external customers, on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
- A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in mechanical design.
- Experience with phase array structures, hardware packaging, and array integration for military or mechanical or commercial applications.
- Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Cognizant of machine suppliers' capabilities or have direct experience in a manufacturing and assembly support role for producibility.
- Familiarity with the design and manufacturing processes of CCAs, mechanical/RF components, metal housings, and electronics assemblies.
- Strong technical background with high technical aptitude.
- Strong leadership skills and project management.
- Experience with CREO (Pro/E) or similar 3D solid modeling software.
- Experience with PTC Windchill Product Data Management or equivalent configuration/data management software.
- Very strong verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills when working with team members and customers.
- Advanced degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering.
Raytheon offers a competitive salary range of $96,000 USD - $200,000 USD, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
