We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse PRN 1 OR to join our team at Houston Methodist Clear Lake Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient experiences.
Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to a diverse patient population, conducting nursing assessments, assisting with exams and treatment, and maintaining medical records.
- Communicate and collaborate with physicians and interprofessional healthcare teams to facilitate, coordinate, and maintain compassionate, efficient, and quality care.
- Act as a patient and family advocate, monitoring and maintaining patient rights, and utilizing clinical judgment to work autonomously.
- Participate in unit and shared governance initiatives, serving as a charge nurse or preceptor to students or new employees, and contributing to service line or hospital-wide initiatives in partnership with management.
- Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Two years of registered nurse experience in a healthcare environment.
- RN Registered Nurse Texas State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure within 60 days.
- BLS Basic Life Support (AHA).
- Magnet ANCC Recognized Certification in applicable specialty area.
