We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team at Houston Methodist Clear Lake Hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care, managing nursing staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve patient care and nursing services
- Lead and manage a team of nursing staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating employees
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery and achieve organizational goals
- Monitor and improve nursing practices, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and other financial reports to ensure effective resource allocation
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing and Master's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3 years of experience in a clinical setting, with 2 years of experience in a leadership or management role
- Current RN licensure in Texas (or Compact State licensure within 60 days)
- ANCC-recognized leadership certification (or willingness to obtain within 1 year)
