Job Overview

We are seeking an Artisan Pizza Specialist to enhance our culinary team and craft exquisite pizzas utilizing both classic and contemporary techniques.

Position Summary:
As an Artisan Pizza Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include preparing pizza dough, selecting and preparing toppings such as fresh vegetables and premium meats, and fulfilling customer orders while accommodating special requests.

Success in this role requires a solid background in various pizza styles and availability during operational hours. Your expertise will contribute to elevating customer satisfaction through the creation of top-notch pizzas.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Craft pizzas from our diverse menu and tailor them to meet custom orders
  • Bake an assortment of pizza crusts, including thin, thick, and stuffed varieties
  • Prepare fresh sauces, including tomato, pesto, and creamy white sauces
  • Clean and chop vegetables such as tomatoes, peppers, onions, and mushrooms
  • Slice and grill various meats, including chicken, ham, and beef
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders as necessary
  • Incorporate innovative ingredients to attract a broader clientele, such as vegan cheese and gluten-free options
  • Prepare appetizers, including mozzarella sticks, pizza bites, garlic bread, and salads
  • Suggest new recipes to refresh our menu offerings
  • Maintain a sanitary cooking environment and ensure equipment is properly sterilized

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Pizza Chef or in a similar culinary role
  • Practical knowledge of preparing and baking various pizza doughs
  • Familiarity with professional kitchen tools and brick or stone ovens
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Excellent time management abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings
  • Culinary school diploma is advantageous
