The Lynn Public Schools is seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech and Language Pathologist, you will work with students to improve their communication skills, including articulation, expressive and receptive language, fluency, and augmentative communication.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose students to determine their communication needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) and 504 treatment plans to address student needs.
- Provide small group and individual speech and language therapy services to identified students.
- Communicate with students, parents, and teachers to ensure student progress and success.
- Collaborate with teachers to provide consultation and support to meet student needs.
- Complete progress reports and maintain accurate records.
- Attend meetings and participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology or related field.
- Massachusetts certification in Speech and Language Pathology.
- Experience working with students with diverse communication needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals.
