Job Summary

The Lynn Public Schools is seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team. As an Itinerant Teacher of Speech and Language, you will work closely with students to improve their communication skills in articulation, expressive and receptive language, fluency, and augmentative communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose students to determine their communication needs
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to improve students' communication skills
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to integrate speech and language therapy into the curriculum
  • Monitor student progress and provide progress reports to parents and teachers
  • Communicate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure students receive comprehensive support
  • Stay current with best practices in speech and language therapy and incorporate new techniques into your practice
