We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative at the Hillsborough Transit Authority - HART. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our passengers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving any issues they may encounter.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate and timely information about HART bus services.
- Analyze customer concerns and route them to the appropriate personnel or resolve the issue directly.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, demonstrating outstanding customer care skills.
- Communicate effectively with the Operations Control Center on any changes affecting customers.
- Review emails and update the tracking system with relevant information.
- Submit mail requests for customers and assist with mass mailouts as needed.
- Enter daily data on customer comments and requests.
- Direct customers to the proper person or department.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum two years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Work is performed in a standard office environment with occasional outdoor or street assignments.
- Constant telephone usage and computer work.
- Occasional exposure to noise and fumes.
