Family Care Specialist

The Family Consultant role at KidsPeace involves leading a team to identify the needs of foster care families, facilitating access to necessary services, and overseeing the planning and implementation of treatment plans for assigned caseloads.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as a team leader, guiding foster parents and family support workers to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and families.
- Provide supervision to Family Support Workers/BHPs as assigned.
- Conduct intake, assessment, and plan of care development, coordination, and advocacy services.
- Schedule regular meetings with assigned children and families to counsel, support, and monitor treatment progress.
- Coordinate with clinical, educational, behavioral, and healthcare services to ensure comprehensive support for children and families.
- Attend court reviews and judicial proceedings as required.
- Maintain accurate documentation for each client file in compliance with KidsPeace Quality Assurance standards.
- A Master's degree in a human service field, or a Bachelor's degree in a human service field with relevant experience.
- Ability to work effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
